Environmental professionals rely on city directory data as a standard source when conducting ASTM E1527 historical research. It is important to have speedy access to the most accurate and comprehensive information. The quality and completeness of city directory information as well as the amount of historical data included in the publication factors into how many sources or publishers are queried.
EDR LIGHTBOX® customers who do work in Colorado are seeking out better city directory resources that go further back in time and provide stronger geographic coverage.
EDR LIGHTBOX® identified sources in CO that contained unique years of CD data that are not available in the national repositories and were not previously offered in our CD reports. To leverage these findings, we digitized all the unique titles from these CO sources and added them to our reports. New publishers were added, including Polk, XL Directory Service, Johnson’s Publishing, and Rocky Mountain Directory Company. These additions allow us to go back 20 to 30 years further in time.
